Sum Tsai joined Ryder in 2020 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Sum plays a key role in leading the marketing and sales team to explore and develop new business initiatives, overseeing multiple business units to ensure Ryder's goals and values are fully met.
Prior to joining Ryder, he has held various roles in multinational corporations including Fujitsu, Flex, Sharp and Computime. In the last 20 years, his role has broadened from design engineering to marketing and sales and to overall business development strategy. Holding firmly the importance of integrity and open communication with customers will provide the ultimate relationship that is long-lasting and financially beneficial to both sides.
Sum has a Master of Business Administration from The University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering and also holds a Master of Science degree in Electronic and Information Engineering, both are from the City University of Hong Kong.
