Ryder Industries helps improve school’s conditions through Corporate Social Responsibility effort

  •  Zhi Chao primary school is located in Hainan Island’s Ledong Li  Autonomous County, classified by the Chinese government as an  underprivileged area. Laird Technologies is taking action to develop and  improve the school. As a strategic partner of Laird, Ryder Industries is  supporting its efforts by donating to the school facilities.

     A charity event hosted by Laird Technologies at the school on 4th June  this year was a chance to show off the progress of charitable activities to  date.Efforts to modernise the school and improve the educational  environment for its students have included the replacement of the  school’s doors, windows, tables and chairs in all classrooms.Each  student has also been given school bags, stationery and T-shirts.
  •   Zhi Chao Public Primary School, founded in 1952, has over 57 students between the ages of 6 and 13.
  •   Laird Technologies has been running a charitable programme of assistance to the school and this year invited   its four suppliers, including Ryder, to take part.Ryder was happy to accept the invitation as an opportunity to   manifest its goal, “To provide EMS services with growing prosperity – a robust and dependable partner and a   good corporate citizen”.
  •   Ryder takes its corporate and social responsibilities seriously. In addition to the Zhi Chao Primary School,
