  • Winald Liu joined Ryder as VP and Special Assistant to the CEO in May 2011. Winald’s career in the electronics industries spans almost 25 years and took him to management level in semiconductor distribution and EMS.
  • In the 9 years previous to his arrival at Ryder, Winald was based in Hong Kong working as General Manager at EMS companies Telefield Ltd. and Surface Mount Technology Ltd. His experience also includes managing the China Division of Willas-Array Electronics (Holding) Ltd.
  • Winald has accumulated strong expertise in operations and in sales and marketing, and is in charge of Ryder’s Business Unit 1. With his experience of establishing and running operations in mainland China, he will also represent Ryder’s Management Committee in the oversight of the Jiangxi plant construction.
  • Born and educated in Hong Kong, Winald holds a Diploma of Management Study – DMS from Hong Kong Management Association and Hong Kong Polytechnic University which he obtained in 1998.
